Henry King is a multi-disciplinary creative whose work traverses set design, installation, events, sculpture and exhibition, all of which overlap to form a multi-layered and diverse practice. He is a world-builder, creating concepts large and small, that pull the viewer in no matter the scale. With an Honours in Interior Design, Henry found his passion for smaller scale spatial design projects that are concept driven. A natural progression saw him move into set design, where he has incorporated the spectrum of his skills; creating sculptures for advertising campaigns, installations for windows and large scale events, and throughout all, weaving a unique aesthetic that is in turn striking, conceptual, and playful.
Henry’s clients include Tennis Australia, Vogue Hong Kong, Country Road, Eva, Hommey, Swisse, July luggage, Bonds, Sprite, Mecca, Adidas, Hype DC, Wittner, Cath and more. Henry lives in Naarm close to his studio, where he can be found most days making, painting and creating.
