Lilli Waters is a talented multi-disciplinary artist, whose work encompasses fine art, commercial photography, and motion direction. Lilli’s work invokes a sense of modern-day feminist Renaissance; sometimes moody, always innovative, and with an occasional sense of foreboding that draws the audience closer.
Lilli’s work has been exhibited numerous times in Australia, Europe, the US and Japan. She is the recipient of the Du Rietz Art Award (2021), winner of the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize Photography Award (2022), and a finalist in the last few years’ of the National Portrait Prize, the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize (2022 and 2021), Nillumbik Prize for Contemporary Art (2022 & 2021), Fisher’s Ghost Art Award (2020), Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize (2022& 2020), Du Reitz Art Awards (2020), Percival Photographic Art Prize (2020), Australian Photography Awards (2018) and Art Aesthetica Art Award (2018).
Lilli’s commercial clients include Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Mercedes Benz, Country Road, St Johns Ambulance, and Pernod-Ricard, to name a few.
Lilli lives in Naarm / Melbourne, and works Australia-wide.
